Muay Siam Magazine featured Singpatong Sitnumnoi as "A Gym for Champions in Phuket Thailand"
The Singpatong Sitnumnoi Muay Thai Gym was featured in the newspaper as a Gym for Champions in Phuket, Thailand. In this article they highlight the kind of training that they experienced given by our professional trainers. The gym was being founded in 1971 by a professional Muay Thai fighter Somsak Junlaka. It served as a training camp for people who wants to be a professional Muay Thai in the future. It’s currently under the operational management of Numnoi Singpatong, our head trainer. We have a well-known professional Muay Thai trainer namely Sommart Phuongkong, Suriya Sahakaro, Kawin Plaikhown and Chatchai Panneam.
Our Training camp currently accepting 2-3 Thai nationals every year to live and stay in the camp and willing to be trained by our well experienced Muay Thai trainers of Singpatong. The program id scheduled from Monday to Saturday. The first session is from 7:00 to 10:00 am and the second session is from 4:00 to 8:00pm. Part of their training is the 10 kilometer run, clinching sparring, shadow boxing, skipping sit-ups, push ups, stretching and 8 rounds in the ring with the designated trainer. In this training they strictly follow the standard of the given program.
They had prepared fighters to become a professional Muay Thai fighter, not just in Thailand but also in the world. The record shows that Singpatong Sitnumnoi has produced many champion fighters. They internationally recognized our fighters such as Tong Suk, Rung Anun, Pen Ake, Damien Alamos, and Joel Fischer.
Recently they accepted foreign visitors who are willing to be trained and follow the standard training. It’s a short program from a day to 6 months. However, there are some foreign fighters opting to stay outside the training camp after they acquired the skills. There are also accepting children who want to learn Muay Thai training at the Singpatong Sitnumnoi Gym.
